Most golf courses will rent a half set or a full set of clubs so if you haven’t taken your golf clubs but fancy a game of golf you can just ring and book a time. Many have golf buggies for hire.
Some golf clubs request a handicap certificate but do not always ask to see them. They do like some proof that you are a member of a golf club somewhere, and if you have forgotten or mislaid your certificate, a membership tag on your golf bag from your local club may be enough. They are more likely to ask for a handicap certificate on those courses which have a upper handicap limit. If you think you may be playing golf, remember to pack your handicap certificate.
Most of the golf courses below have websites which detail the type of course and some have video clips taking you through the layout of the golf course. The season of the golf courses to be open is indicated below but may vary depending on the weather and how long it has taken for the winter snow to clear the mountains. Check with the club or look at their website first.
